What Personal Information Do We Process and Why?
The type of personal information we process depends on the nature of the interaction, and may be obtained (i) directly from the service user, our controller, or trusted partner; (ii) indirectly provided via other sources, such technical data or publicly available information; and (iii) where we have a “legitimate interest” to do so. In each case, we process such information deemed necessary or appropriate to the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with our website or services.
For example, we may ask visitors who use the interactive forms on our website to provide their name, email address, what company they work for and a contact number, or to provide requested services, such as when we register your account, when you sign up to our newsletters or attend an event.

Interactive Communications

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the website we collect the data shown in the comments sections, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a “hash”) may be provided to a Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website could download and extract the location data attached to the images.

At Brightstar Agencies Limited, we and our Agents, do not solicit, direct our services or knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of sixteen (16).
